“While our tour guide, Jean, was very nice - this felt more like a way to promote specific stores. We could have purchased chocolate, cheese and pastries at any of the wonderful shops in Basel instead of on the tour.”

Excursion to Colmar and Ribeauvillé to the Christmas market

6.Excursion to Colmar and Ribeauvillé to the Christmas market

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 3 reviews · 9 hours (approx.) · from $78

From Basel, visit Ribeauvillé and Colmar Christmas markets with private transport, free admission, and a scenic evening return.

“Brilliant trip to two fantastic Christmas markets. Ribeauville was the absolute star of the show. When they said it was a medieval market, we were not prepared for just what that meant. Traditional costumes, food, music, performances. It was amazing. The town itself is like something out of a painting. Gorgeous colourful chocolate box buildings and so many little shops to dip into. Colmar was very busy and a bit spread out, by comparison, but enjoyable, especially after dark. Overall, we would recommend this trip.”
